John Gets His Collar!

Here is a walkthrough of the first chapter of my visual novel about John and Susan. Nothing very dramatic happens, but it moves the story on along lines that I originally planned a number of years ago. I have lots of ideas for the next chapter, which describes the "encounter" between Susan and Sebastian!

Incidentally, in the current episode, I've included sound effects from a couple of old movies. I wonder if anyone can identify them.

It's Been A While...

Hello everyone! It's been a while. This is a quick post to let you know that (despite appearances) I haven't abandoned this blog. What's more, after a period when I really didn’t feel motivated to do any LLP stuff, I believe my interest has (largely) returned.

I've come to realize that the "John and Susan" narrative just isn't going to happen as CG animations, because that would be far too much work. So instead, I'm going to continue it as a visual novel. However, rather than trying to work within the limitations of running everything in a web browser, I'm going to do it as a downloadable game. Nevertheless, I'll upload walkthroughs as YouTube videos (these are very easy to create with the virtual novel software that I’m using), so people still have access to the story online.
