Here are details of an idea I've had for a while about a linked system of symbols/names. You could call it a minor bit of background LLP world building. Anyway, I've always liked the idea of special characters, symbols, codes and cyphers!
Dont understand your naming system at all but you've got a great kink mind. Maybe have it tattooed on their lower back like a girl, or above their adjusted dick.
Yes, lot's of possibilities! The naming system may be a bit difficult to follow. The main point is that any given symbol gives a number of name choices, but any given name indicates a specific symbol. You can also indicate a specific name using the relevant symbol plus five dots underneath.
It is actually quite simple, but the explanation is quite confusing.
All names have five letters and follow this pattern (see the first image):
1. Top blue slots: First letter 2. Top red slots: Second letter 3. Middle blue slots: Third letter 4. Bottom red slots: Fourth letter 5. Bottom blue slots: Fifth letter
Pick three blue slots and two red slots. Now order them from top to bottom in this order: blue slots, red slots, blue slots, red slots, blue slots, just like in the second image for ODASU.
Step 1: Drawing the symbol
Now fill in the slots to draw a symbol based on the letter combinations you have chosen. You can now also form a name. Let's first draw the symbol for ODASU:
1. Top blue slots (o u): All squares are filled, so all slots are filled. 2. Top red slots (d n): The first two squares are open and the third one is filled. So, the first two slots are open and the third one is filled. 3. Middle blue slots (a): All squares are open, so all slots are open. 4. Bottom red slots (h s): The first square is filled and the other two are open. So, the first slot is filled and the other two are open. 5. Bottom blue slots (o u): All squares are filled, so all slots are filled.
Step 2: Dotted naming system
Once the symbol is complete, you must select one letter from each letter combination to form a name. Depending on your choice, the dotted representation is determined (see underneath the symbol in the second image):
- First letter in the combination = First letter option (small filled square) - Second letter in the combination = Second letter option (open square) - Third letter in the combination = Third letter option (large filled square)
For ODASU:
1. Top blue slots (o u): Chosen letter is O, the first letter, which corresponds to a first letter option (small filled square). 2. Top red slots (d n): Chosen letter is D, the first letter, which corresponds to a first letter option (small filled square). 3. Middle blue slots (a): Chosen letter is A, the first letter, which corresponds to a first letter option (small filled square). 4. Bottom red slots (h s): Chosen letter is S, the second letter, which corresponds to a second letter option (open square). 5. Bottom blue slots (o u): Chosen letter is U, the second letter, which corresponds to a second letter option (open square).
