This project evolved unexpectedly from an
attempt to do a picture in a quicker style. Apart from picture 12 (which kind
of represents the ‘climax’ of the story) I’ve made a deliberate effort to limit
the artwork to a less detailed, simpler style, especially in the places where
the dialog is more important than the pictures. As a result, I’ve been able to finish
the whole thing without the creation process becoming a drudge (which can often
happen when a project takes too long).

Icing on the cake for me would have been to see the wife actually being fucked by her bull, and for the husband to have been in an adjacent room hearing it, or having it relayed live to him via LLP technology.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments. I’m very glad that the feedback on this story has been so positive. It has inspired me to do another one using largely the same kind of approach (with respect to the artwork and presentation), which will be finished and uploaded next week.
Doing ‘Eve of the Games’ has made me realize how important it is to use an approach in which I can complete and present an idea while it’s relatively new, and while I’m still enthusiastic about it. Of course, there’s still a value in doing more ambitious projects (like full animations), but it’s nice to have these short comics as a way of expressing some of my ideas in a reasonably quick, fresh way. I have lots of ideas for stories, and I’d like to move towards expressing them more freely and frequently, rather than saving them up for some future ambitious project (which results in the number of ideas greatly outnumbering my ability to present them). It’s a matter of balance. The story ideas which I like most (and which would benefit from more detailed treatment) can be done as animations, while the more minor ideas can be done as short comics, which I would aim to produce in a timeframe of around one week.

I like black hair too. I personally think it's very attractive, and it's also easier to draw! I don't know why, but in my mind there seems to be some kind of image (totally unfounded, of course) of blonde women being more 'pure and innocent' and I think that's been influencing my choice of hair color.

DeleteI love how this story captures the complexity of Peter's marriage. Peter is coming terms with the fact that he is fundamentally inferior to the palace studs. Sad, but true. Peter's wife loves Peter dearly, but she knows she deserves better than him. Good for her for pursuing her dreams and not settling. At some point, though, she'll have to move on from her husband and live full time in the world of Peter's betters.

for example, this story could end like this ...:
If the wife is filled with sperm her husband is automatically castrated ...
She was questioned on the stallion if he wants to be filled ... and although she knows that her husband is castrated exhausted by the desire and accepts everything happens!
This is actually interesting. A surprise ending would be great!
