Here is a walkthrough of the first chapter of my visual
novel about John and Susan. Nothing very dramatic happens, but it moves the
story on along lines that I originally planned a number of years ago. I have
lots of ideas for the next chapter, which describes the "encounter"
between Susan and Sebastian!
Incidentally, in the
current episode, I've included sound effects from a couple of old movies. I
wonder if anyone can identify them.

ReplyDeleteI’m guessing John’s last “night of freedom” was a chance to jack off, maybe with Susan watching. The truth is that she doesn’t need to waste her time with his little dick (or his beta personality), especially since she knows what’s available to her. In some ways this would be all the confirmation she would need to confirm that she had made the right choice. DeleteLove the developments so far! i like the addition of sound effects, but the powerup is sudden compared to the rest of the video which is near silent. Love the new outfits! Does the gold on their neck and wrists represent anything?

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments. I have a definite scenario for the next episode, but then I'll have to do some thinking about what happens after that. One advantage of the visual novel format is that you can create multiple variations of the story, and eventually have several different endings. When going through the VN, the user arrives at one of those endings depending on the choices they make. I like that idea, because it means I can have a number of 'alternative futures' in the John and Susan saga.
Love it, miss the talking even if it was text to speech. There has to be someone out there with some voices to lend.
